Senior Front End Software Engineer
This is a highly technical role that requires deep understanding of browser memory usage, DOM internals, network performance, and asynchronous application flow. All applicants will be tested on software development and computer science topics including algorithms, software architecture, software design patterns, and performance analysis.
-Architect and implement new features
-Work with the Product team to design and spec new functionality
-Work with QA to fix bugs and maintain the product
-Participate in all phases of the software development cycle
-Work with QA to ensure a maintainable and testable software design
-Provide technical and thought leadership for the development team
-Work on-site in San Francisco. This position has no remote work option.
-B.S. Computer Science or equivalent experience
-5+ years software engineering experience
-Strong desire to learn new languages and technologies
-Strong skills in object oriented programming and architectural design patterns
-Experience working in a company environment involving a healthy product management organization, architects, engineering and QA process, and customer-facing support
-Proven ability to participate in multiple, concurrent projects
-Track record of documenting work and writing specifications
-Experience with software development in Flash/Actionscript
-Experience with server side technologies such as PHP or Java
-Experience with web services, databases, and SQL
-Experience with Mobile application development
-Well-versed in browser security policy (same-origin policy, cross-domain issues)
-Experience with social web technologies: OpenID, OAuth, Twitter API, Facebook API, etc
