Date: Saturday July 20 at 7:30 p.m.

Description: Get ready to wrinkle!  Movie starts at dusk, around 8:45, but come early to stake out space and shmooze in or around the pool.

Swim in scenic Deep Eddy downtown, and then enjoy the movie from the water or poolside.  There are showers in the bathhouse, and there is one outdoor shower near the pool. The bathhouses have rest rooms and changing rooms. Kickboards are usually available for free.

Deep Eddy Pool is Texas' oldest swimming pool and one of Austin's first publicly owned parks. It began as a natural swimming hole on the Colorado River. Today, it is a very popular swimming pool operated by the City of Austin and fed by one of seven nearby Artesian wells.

Unfortunately, the movie was cancelled as there was a possibility of rain. Shel and I were at Deep Eddy at 7:30 and went in the pool. Enjoyed floating in the water and watching the sunset and moonrise. Sorry to have missed the other folks. :(

It's a natural spring-fed pool, always stays cool, very refreshing.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
