So what's better than karaoke? Karaoke in a cave, of course! Why would you not want to mix a little spelunking into your best effort belting out your favorite tunes? Ok, perhaps it won't be in an actual cave- more like a basement karaoke bar with a nice cavely feel (yes, I just made that word up- it's pronounced cave-lee). And so as a result, there will be no actual spelunking. All in all, that may be for the best.
But enough of the nonsense! We are going to sing our favorite songs (or songs that may just be funny to sing) and have a blast doing it at the Karaoke Cave. I've been here once before and it's got a pretty relaxed feel. There's enough space where you don't generally feel packed in. On top of that, there's a happy hour from 5-8pm- beer, house wine, and house liquor are half off! They have a pretty good song selection from oldies to current favorites and lots in between. You can either pay a dollar for a song, or get a song free with any drink purchase (except during the happy hour- still have o pay the dollar, then). Sounds like a pretty freakin' winning combination to me.
I hereby vow to you, to not take myself too seriously and put on my best possible performance for a song or two. You may laugh, or you may cry, but this I promise. If I cause any tears, I'll buy a drink to make up for it.
There's a liimited bar menu, just in case anyone feels like snacking, but I plan to get something to eat in the area afterward, and you are all welcome to join me, of course. Don't know what it'll be, but we'll cross that bridge when we come to it.
