So what sounds like the perfect Friday night to you? Well, if you ask me, I'd have to say running around the City at night, playing crazy ass games. And that's just what we'll be doing this Friday, except we'll be running around playing new, innovative and- most importantly- fun games designed specifically for us to enjoy as adults. How is this possible, you ask? Why are there such insanely amusing things for me to do in the streets of the Southstreet Seaport this particular evening? Well, you have the Come Out & Play Festival to thank for that.
Come Out & Play is an annual festival of street games that turns New York City into a giant playground. In 2013 Come Out & Play returns to Lower Manhattan in partnership with the River to River Festival.
This year's festival features two events: Come Out & Play After Dark (the event listed here), an evening of night games on Friday July 13 and Come Out & Play Field Day (an event also conveniently listed on our calendar), a day of exciting new field games on Saturday July 13.
This year Come Out & Play After Dark will fill the Seaport gallery, at the corner of Front St & Beekman St, and the surrounding streets with games big and small for an evening of fun. From small indoor games to outdoor player hunts through darkened streets, After Dark will change the way you play and interact with your city. Dash through the streets in a massive player hunt. Play life-sized video games and dive into new technology enabled sports.

Basically, all I can say at this point is, Let's do this!
