I can get down with a lot of things. I love music, dancing, culture, art, literature, the outdoors, limited distance trips (a day or less), hiking, rollerblading, spiritual crap, anything that has to do with food, always looking for beginners classes to anything, and most of all, meeting new people. (As long as they aren't creepy) But my current job in the city, odd days off, tons of stuff I have to do before the beginning of October makes my free time a commodity.
Hiking in public parks. A whole day of greenmarkets and free art museums. A picnic and impromptu dance party. Potlucks. Sushi parties. If somebody arranges a field trip to a cabaret or comedy club- awesome. Masquerade balls. Movie night. A field trip to a pow-wow or craft fair. Kayaking, which I will be trying for the first time on Wednesday. Super-stoked because I've always wanted to do that. Thrift stores. Archery classes. Falconry because it's cool. The NY Philharmonic plays for free sometimes, let's check that out. I love trying new restaurants, I'm such a foodie. But I also want to work off the calories so anything outdoorsy, sporty or adventurous. Suggest something, let's bounce ideas around. Surprise me.
I've recently gotten into red wine, but sweet only. Not much of a drinker, so I'm a lightweight so one whiskey (or midori) sour will do. I don't need to get drunk to have a good time, or make an ass out of myself. :D
Life currently under construction. New job/new apartment, both in New Rochelle. ~Crosses fingers~ I hope this means saving money and having more free time to socialize!
