A study of Freemasonry (Saturday, August 24, 2013)

On August 24, 2013 at 1:00 P.M. a study group will be held at the Corinth Library. Each month a different topic, ranging from philosophy and science, to religion and metaphysics, is discussed and debated.

Augusts’ topic will be conducted by Brother Katie Cumsille on Freemasonry and Morality. After a short lecture a discussion and debate by the group will follow.

Morality has been the study for many centuries of philosophers and the simple man. What is it? How do I define morality? Am I moral? Freemasonry has always sought for Initiates of high moral character; what does this mean and why is it an important quality of every Freemason? Join us as we study our own personal perception of morality and its necessity in Masonry.

This group, which is open to the public, is where non-members can learn more about Freemasonry, as well as meet local Freemasons.

I am saying yes at the moment. I am in the process of moving and not sure if I will be available. I will certainly try, but please do not wait for me.

Due to the late notice and lack of response of whether this group was still active or not, I have unfortunately made other plans.

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
