A Study of Freemasonry

On March 29th, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. the Masonic Philosophical Society will be hosting a study group at the Corinth Library. Each month a different topic, ranging from philosophy and science to religion and metaphysics, is discussed and debated. Please arrive at 12:45 P.M. so the discussion can begin promptly at 1:00 P.M.

March’s topic will be conducted by Brother Deborah Dilley on The Power of the Parable. After a short lecture a discussion and debate by the group will follow.

Parables have been used throughout history to teach universal truths to humanity.  Do these stories have only one truth to impart, or could they also be the gateway to not only the lower mysteries, but also the higher? Join Brother Dilley as she presents a fascinating discussion and exploration of parables.

This group, which is open to the public, is where non-members can learn more about Freemasonry, as well as meet local Freemasons.

Such a wonderful and welcoming group! Very lively discussion today and I'm excited about the next time I can visit! I would definitely love to hear any insights that people have after reading some of the parables we weren't able to get to today.
