Anyone who loves to sing karaoke and dance and meet fun people and hang should join this meetup. Yeah. We will, we will Rock U. We especially like oldies covering a span of 3 decades. We try to meet for dinner first. If not, we usually schedule meetups on a Saturday night and meet at the venue at 9 P.M. Beginning 10/18/08, we will hold karaoke contests sponsored by the iTunes Store.

*April 2009, Update. Contest - Seemed like a good idea at the time, but not well received - even in the name of fun. It went over well with members that have been in the group from
Day 1. As it turned out, Connie won first prize, the new iPod nano. And everyone else was given a gift certificate from iTunes, downloadable online. Category - They're just winners in general. We do love having new members join us because we want you to be happy and have
as much fun as we always do. I'm always hearing about how important it is to "be present and
in the moment." FTS. It's those moments in the presence of good friends - is what it's all about.
