Hello Chiyochan! (Cute name!) I would love to have you in our group! We will be studying a bit elementary for you perhaps, but I think foundation practice is always good. If it feels a bit too slow for you, you can jump back in at a later date. We will be meeting Thursday nights, but not sure the location yet. It depends on how many people join -- so will get back to you soon on that!

You list an interest in conventions. Loscon is on Thanksgiving weekend at an LAX hotel, if you're interested. Linda and I are going. Saturday is the big party night. We'll be helping the Greater Los Angeles Writers' Society ("GLOS") host their room party. This con leans more in the direction of books than towards media. There are always writers around, as well as engineers, costumers, etc. Google Loscon to see the guest list. Feel free to ask me questions.
