I took a look at your points system. If you graph it you'll see that it's not a smooth curve.
I suggest this:
1 ? ? ? 26
2 ? ? ? 18
3 ? ? ? 14
4 ? ? ? 10
5 ? ? ? 8
6 ? ? ? 6
7 ? ? ? 4
8 ? ? ? 3
9 ? ? ? 2
10 ? ? ?1
It's based on the log formula from sodi.

Here is the link to the PDF schedule and points table (Files section of our Meetup's page):
More info coming this weekend.
Thanks to all who came out last night. You guys never cease to amaze and impress me!
We changed a whole raft of things from what was initially proposed but walked away with some really good ideas, which I'm putting into words and will be finalizing soon.
In a nutshell this is *the format,* with expected turnout of around 24 to 30 drivers (3 groups of 8 to 10):
Three track sessions per event:
Race 1 (and Qual for Race 2)
Racing by 3 weight classes, determined at start of season.
Top 10 drivers in class in each race score points (see table).
Spring Series (Count best 10 race results of 14)
Fall Series (Count best 10 race results of 14)
There will be spring and fall champs, and an overall champion for the year.
Rules, details and registration link to be posted soon. It's going to be a fantastic year!
