Childrens Craft/Mini Golf- Walk MS Volunteers Needed!

Aloha! I need some amazing volunteers willing to do anything for the Oahu Walk MS : Field Day! People that come from MeetUp will be asked to run the childrens arts and crafts booth. If you would like to do something else, please let me know!

All volunteers will be given a free t-shirt and breakfast. (NEW INFO_PLEASE SEE COMMENTS!)

For a complete list of volunteer duties, please e-mail [masked]

What if we could connect every person living with MS? Every person who cares about someone with MS. Every family affected by it. Everyone who has seen what this disease can do to people. What if we could come together, even one day a year, to show the power of our connections? At Walk MS, our connections become more powerful than the connections MS destroys.

When you participate in Walk MS, the funds you raise give hope to the more than 7,000 people living with MS in our community. The dollars raised support life-changing programs and cutting-edge research. We’ve been walking since 1988 and have raised more than $10 million dollars to help support people living with MS.

Aloha all! I have some more information about the walk! 1. You must be a registered volunteer on walkmshawaii.org to get into the event. The reason is we need an emergent contact information, a head count, and enough breakfast for everyone! If you call me today, i can do it for you over the phone of you have trouble. Some set up duties are as simple as assisting with checking in all of the volunteers. (Seated) Also, if you already have an orange volunteer shirt - wear it! The shirts are the same from the last 3 years! 2. Parking after 6:00 am is $1.00 per person. If you come at 5:30 am to help with set up, parking is free. To offset the cost, we will provide free breakfast and beverages from Coca Cola, A catering company, and Times SuperMarket! And the free orange volunteer t-shirt! 3. Once you're registered, you will get more detailed information about parking. 4. I have a whole bin of supplies, so hopefully it will be enough to keep the kiddies havin fun!

Amanda, I'm here but wandering around. I was at the ticket office as instructed but no one there had any information. Can you tell me where I'm to meet the group?

It was great. Enjoyed working with the children (and adults as well). Glad I was able to participate and volunteer for such a great cause and event. The children were so creative and enjoyed it as well.
