Become a Wish Granter w/Make-A-Wish Hawaii!

Aloha Volunteers!

Make-A-Wish Hawaii is holding a Wish Granter training class on the 26th.  If you are interested in learning more about Make-A-Wish Hawaii and becoming a wish granter, please RSVP (email Kari at [masked]) and attend.

I just received my weekly email from Kari and we currently have 8 wish kids waiting for their wish granters to come out and visit.  We are in need of more wish granters.

If you have any questions regarding the training/what to expect after, please call/text me - I'll be happy to share my experiences as I have been a wish granter for over 4 years now and I absolutely love it. :)

Wish-Granting Volunteers

The wish granting process begins by interviewing each child to determine the wish, then making it come true.

Volunteering at its best

Wish granters work directly with the children and their families to determine the child’s one true wish and then play an instrumental role in helping to plan, create, and fulfill the child’s wish. These specifically trained volunteers make the wish an unforgettable experience through their attention to detail and imagination. Wish granters volunteer their time around their own schedule. You must be at least 21 years old.

I was so very disappointed in not being able to attend. Somehow missed the email requirement.

For those who have received email confirmation for tonight's training, please come for a 5 pm start time. From 5-6 pm will be a valuable orientation that is mandatory for all wish granting volunteers. Thanks!

Hi everyone! The class tonight is full. If you have not received direct correspondence from me via email confirming your spot, please do not come down for training. Unfortunately, I have not received notification via email for many of you. Please email me at [masked] to schedule into a future training session. Sorry for any inconvenience!
