Free film screening: Inequality for all

Aloha All - I received an email from Hawaii People's Fund regarding this free screening. I saw the trailer and now I can't wait to go to the screening.  It looks like it will be an informative evening and hopefully followed by discussion of what we all can do to help the situation.  I hope you are able to join me. RSVP using the EVENTBRITE link below as seating is limited to 300.  Thanks!

When: Thursday, February 6, 2014  5:30-8:00 pm
Where: Tenney Theatre, St. Andrews Cathedral (Beretania at Queen Emma St.)

Film: Inequality for All (A film by Jacob Kornbluth)

This film will make you laugh and make you cringe.

It asks the big questions and presents facts on the US economy that will blow your mind.

It will inspire you to take action for economic justice:

Raise the minimum wage * Strengthen workers' voices * Invest more in education * Reform Wall Street * Fix the tax system * Get big money out of politics,

Featuring Robert Reich-professor, best-selling author, and Clinton cabinet member-as he demonstrates how the widening income gap has a devastating impact on the American economy.

Please RSVP at:
seating limited to 300; light refreshments while they last

Economic inequality affects each and every one of us.

Co-sponsored by:

Common Cause Hawaii, Hawaii People's Fund and Faith Action for Community Equity, Hawaii Appleseed, and UNITE HERE Local 5

(as representatives of Raise the Minimum Wage Coalition)
