What is and how much experience do you have kayaking, canoeing, or stand up paddleboarding?

Just a little. I have been known to roll in the surf, and barely loose any gear at all. Have been in the Gulf Stream a couple of times with my kayak, and have had to drag my kayak 1.8 miles on the edge of the water due to inclement weather. I have also covered 40 miles in a single day without breaking a sweat, ok, it was very hot that day, and I sweated a little bit.

Including your kayak(s), how many and what kind or kinds of watercraft do you own or use (size, brands, etc.)?

A Body Surf board, Fins, Mono Fin, my legs and lungs (never with tanks, I do not need them!), a quiver of sails and a few windsurfing boards, some of which can be used as paddle boards. A Hobie Kayak, the "Adventure" with Sail Kit, and self installed fish finder/GPS, and Navigational Lights.

Do you have a Florida salt water fishing license?

Every time I go out fishing, I have my FWC issued Florida Fishing License for both Fresh, and Salt Water. I also get the Snook endorsement.

Do you have a Florida fresh water fishing license?

Every time I go out fishing, I have my FWC issued Florida Fishing License for both Fresh, and Salt Water. I also get the Snook endorsement. Am I getting a sense of Deja Vu?

Don't be shy. What is your fishing experience and what kind of fish do you want to catch?

My father used to take me fishing as a kid as an excuse to spend time together. We never caught anything at all, but we had fun going to very nice places back in Costa Rica, I was his weekend buddy to go out there. It was mostly structure fishing for poor people, but it was fun. Sadly I started catching catfish one night when he was not around, and I never got to see his happiness face when I landed my first fish. But that gave me an excuse to keep trying, until today indeed, since he never saw me fish anything. I am pretty sure he smiles from heaven every time I catch a fish, and I always think of him when I go fishing, he is always with me. Some times I hit the water with spear gun, I think this is a very ecological, and easy way to get the right fish.

Introduction

I personally like do off shore kayak fishing for big game, but I'd walk around a pond casting for bass to calm my nerves. Since I am also a musician, I like to have my lines "singing" all the time!
