Re: [kayaking-129] Geneva Marsh kayaking tomorrow

Hi Prowel
I have a general question to ask. I have a recreational kayak and lately basically do lakes and the calmer rivers . I used to white water canoe years ago but cannot any longer. Was hit by a car 10 yrs ago and have titanium up spine cannot bend at waist. I can kayak but getting in and out I require help. Some one must sit on end so I can get in and the same for getting out. I am ok once in the kayak but need this kind of help.

I have my own kayak and one that is stable for a beginner. Let me know if there is any chance that I could get the help to get in and out of it and a little help loading mine on my Subaru. I can load from my house by myself but need help at a river.

I have paddled Yellow Creek, Loyalhanna, Moraine, and places North since the car accident just really need help to get in and out of kayak. Let me know if there are any trips where I might be able to go and get some help to get in and out plus put on my car once there.

Thanks
Sue. [masked]

Some people showed initial interest and as is usually the case, when I asked them to commit I heard the distinct sound of crickets chirping. In any case I'll be there if anyone is interested in kayaking or canoeing the marsh. Oh, I should probably mention that you'll need your own boat. :^P
