Jeff, Whitney, and Ted are excellent instructors and the next day on the water in Biscayne Bay allowed us to apply what we learned through pratical application. There will be follow up sessions on navigation and this will allow us to build on the basics we covered in class, which was quite a lot. I now have to focus on the excellent text book we were given by Jeff and try to absorb more of the basics of planning a trip. The fellow yakers were great to be with and I hope to see more of them in following meet ups.

The class was great, the material covered was exactly what I was hoping to cover, Jeff was thorough, organized, and patient. There was a lot of information taught but I feel that I understand more about how important it is to to know how to plan trips taking into consideration all the elements that effect us on the watter. The follow up day putting what we learned into action put everything into perspective. Practice practice preactice
