KAYAK RENTALS - Available at the Marina.
DINNER: After our trip, for those who want too will go for a late lunch somewhere.
DIRECTIONS: Sheridan exit off I-95 going east. Cross over Federal Hwy and go to the second stoplight and turn right into West Lake Park. There is a $1.50 park entry fee on weekends but no launch fee.
My cell phone number: [masked] for when you get lost!
WEATHER - It's summer - there will be storms! If there is any lightning or thunder noticeable we will not launch, and we will wait until 30 minutes have passed after the last flash/rumble prior to launch. If we are caught out on the water we will seek shelter in the best and most immediate manner.
GEAR - BASICS plus SUN CLOTHING, SELF RESCUE GEAR, lunch, plenty of water, rain jacket towel, trash bag for your trash, and dry bag/dry box for things (like keychain transmitters) that don't play well with salt water. Be sure to bring a towel and a change of clothes to leave in the car for after the trip.
