Paddle Lake Rosalie

Meet on the boat ramp. This area is not for beginners.

Snacks and lots water are the order of the day. Please bring whistles , lights, and PFD's.

 Paddle route TBA, based on conditions. Please be prepared to paddle 14 miles. this area has an amazing amount of birds and gators.

 

If you have not ponied up your dues, please bring a check for $12. This pays for the website, without which it would be very difficult for us to communicate.

As with all of our paddles, we are not guides and we are not instructors. We are a group of kayaking enthusiasts out for a good time. We help each other, learn from each and enjoy the privilege of being. . By participating in any of our paddles you assume all risks and responsibilities for your personal health and safety and for your equipment. It is important for everyone that each participant be prepared for the trip. Please use your discretion and best judgment when joining a trip. Be sure you are up to the paddle -- physically, mentally and that your equipment is appropriate for the intended trip. Know and respect your limits. Be safe and you will certainly enjoy another fantastic paddle

    I could have told you that. Sorry I could not make the trip. But if I did I would have paddle Weohyakapka creek and Tiger creek. Did that a few weeks back with Jeff Foster. Weohyakapka is most pituresque. Great spot to take out for lunch and I seen three Otter's. That drain is nothing but a man made canal. When I go out on a paddle I not looking for how many miles I can cover.

    Perfect weather, amazing birding, and great company. We had a very hard time getting through the Zipperer canal due to heavy growth of plants. I won't go that way next time.
