Really enjoyed meeting meeting Vicky and George and Kathy. Hope Vicky and George can join us for some of the paddles here. Maybe a moonlight paddle when we start those again. Great to see Herb and Stepanie and meet the grandkids. Have good pics, haven't figured out how to post them yet.

Does anyone know if you can camp in a pop-up camper at this park?
On the site it looks only like tents are allowed, but on a yahoo
group of pop-ups it was listed as a good site.

    September 13, 2013

    • vicky

I am pretty sure I have seen pop ups there before. they have tent sites and RV sites. just call them and tell them what you have and how big and they will hook you up with a site if there are still some available.

there is no dump sites, just water and I think 30 amp service but there is a dump station in the park, just not on sites.

I will be on SEAU-083 from 3PM on Thursday October 10th until 1PM on Thursday October 17th. if anyone forgets anything, I will probably have a spare. to chuck... yes I can cook, and yes I will help you set up and prepare food, fire and fun camping recipes. it should be a great time.
I can't wait for this trip. I LOVE St. Augustine and LOVE Anastasia State Park. Faver Dykes is a really cool place to camp as well. Keep in mind that it can be cooler there at night because it is so far north. bring something warm to sleep in or a sweatshirt for night time just in case. don't forget your flashlights, it will be pitch dark at night. see you soon. looking forward to a great time.
my kayak trips will not be 14 miles so maybe I can find a half way launch site and start and end there. :-)

I signed up this morning. Haven't reserved a camp site yet. Don't know if you have room on yours or want your site # so I'm close. I'll help plan food, etc. when it gets closer. I don't work that far out.
