Paddle from Queen's Island

Directions: Approximately 2.5 miles north of Ft Pierce Inlet over the North Bridge Cswy (A1A). On the west side of A1A look for 2 big mirrors, the kind that let you see out coming out of driveways. Turn left there and follow the dirt road to the launch site. There is a small blue sign with Queen's Island Park on it but it is difficult to see. Google Queens Island Park and you will find it. High Tide is around 11:00 am. Copy and paste these coordinates[masked], [masked] into google maps. No facilities here.

This is a nice paddle of approximately 8 - 10 miles. It will take about 4 - 5 hours. We will  paddle around mangrove islands, mangroves, and the intercoastal waterway. A break will be taken so bring some snacks. This will be an easy paced paddle.

Don't forget your safety gear, pfd's, sunscreen, bug spray, whatever you need for an enjoyable trip. After the trip we will stop for some libations for those that wish.

Hope to see you there,

Herb[masked]

Perfect day! Fun touring the mangroves, finding the fog, seeing dolphins, and experiencing the view from the Jack Island tower. Good friends and good food to end a beautiful day.

I'm leaving the east coast of Florida a couple of days prior to your paddle, but it sounds like fun. Maybe I'll catch up with you next year.
