New Meetup: Paddling the Fort Pierce Inlet

Announcing a new Meetup for Treasure Coast Kayakers Group!

What: Paddling the Fort Pierce Inlet

When: Sunday, November 28,[masked]:30 AM

Where: county park/boat ramp
north bridge
fort pierce, FL 34951

Meet at the boat ramp at the east end of the north bridge in Fort Pierce. We will paddle an easy loop to the inlet, through Diamond Cut, and back. We have an incoming tide. This paddle is suitable for beginners. We will likely stop at the state park for a snack and it is a short walk to the beach. Please wear your PFD, sunscreen and bring plenty of water. I have paddled this area several times and there are usually dolphins and lots of birds. We will probably finish by 1030. There can be heavy boat traffic in this area.

The boat ramp is on the left (north) at the east end of the bridge. It is big and there is plenty of free parking. High tide 11am. There is a designated canoe/kayak launch east of the boat ramp. If you get to the state park entrance, you have gone too far.
