the boardwalk at silver sands state park

kayak or walk to charles island and beyond.

we checked out this site , we spoke to the park personal and was told we can launch right next to the beach

after you reach the end of meadowside rd continue into the park (when you click on the map you will see a traffic circle right at the water's edge.

we were told silver sands is a little known beach so it should be good. we can paddle and after we can party on the beach.  (i didn't see bbq pits)

so if you have someone whos likes a day in the sun on the sand while we paddle ,bring a blanket and a towel

Hello, It seems that the location is down from the map location. Following are the directions from the CT site :
Off I-95: take Exit 35. Follow Schoolhouse Road south to Route 1 (Bridgeport Avenue). Turn left onto Route 1 then right at first light (Silver Sands Park Way). Follow Park Way across Meadowside Road and continue down hill to main parking lot.
