Get Outside and Paddle!! 10 miles - Huguenot, Kingsley, Little Talbot

We'll launch from inside Huguenot Park at the lagoon by the pavilions and parking lots then paddle across the lagoon to Fort George inlet. The tide is incoming until 11:30 am and will give us plenty of water and maybe a few ocean swells to overcome as we pass under the A1A bridge. Then we'll ride the current up toward Kingsley Plantation and Little Talbot Island as we head north. Paddling next to Coon Island and behind Little Talbot Island we'll turn around after a lunch break stop at the campground. On our way back we'll stop at the Plantation for a look around before heading back across the Inlet to our cars.

Arrive in time to be in the water by 10:00.

Trip difficulty: easy to moderate
Total paddling distance: approximately 10 miles total
Total time on the water: 4-5 hours

Things to bring:

Kayak, Paddle, PFD and Whistle are required.

Suggested:

Water or something to drink, snacks or lunch.
