What's that big fish that keeps knocking people out of their boats and injuring them in the Suwannee, oh yea, Sturgeon.  200 pound fish jumping vs me and my kayak.  Humm, What's right about this picture?

Have fun... I think I'll just go kayak with breeding Orcas, you know, something really safe...lol

Subject: [KayakJax] Suwannee River Water Levels

Hi all just thought I would share this with you.

The Suwannee river is expected to crest at 83.8 at White Springs, flood stage is 77 feet the record is 88 feet. Just to give you a idea on the amount of rain that has fallen

The gauge at White Springs was 59.85 yesterday
Today it's 78.47 and rising, that's 18.82 feet in one day!

Mother Nature can be so powerful.

Looks like a trip on the Upper Suwannee is in the cards after a long drought and low water levels have keep people away for the last 2 years.

Yay

Brian
