  • A traveling photo exhibit of eight Wilderness Areas in Missouri will be at the Discovery Center from Between May 6 and June 20. This is Stunning photographic tribute to these great wilderness areas put together as part of a nationwide celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Wilderness Act. Bell Mountain. Devil's Backbone. Hercules Glades. Piney Creek. Rockpile Mountain. Paddy Creek. Irish Wilderness. Mingo Wilderness. These are the eight magnificent areas in Missouri Protected by the Wilderness Act, passed 50 years ago. Opening night is on May 6th from 5 to 8pm at the Anita B. Gorman Discovery Center.

    Anyone is welcome. No reservations needed.
