How much rain or dark skies will keep you, and then me, away? Don't butterflies like sun?

I'm going top try to go. Whats a good lens for shooting butterflies? Have mostly manual lens and no macros.

Fast Lens and Macros are great, but if not, just crank up the iso and use a fast shutter speed and see how it goes. Fast shutter speeds are the most important part of moving subjects.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
