The one light off camera portrait presentation

Through out my career 8-year career as a commercial editorial photographer I have photographed individuals and groups as large as 100 people using off camera flash.

During this non shooting attendee demonstration I am going to share 5 secrets to making better portraits using one off camera flash.

You will learn the following:

1. When you should use TTL (eTTL or iTTL) to create a portrait.

2. How to make your foreground, middle ground, and background lighting work for you using one light

3. Light and distance

4. Why your lighting modifier could make or break your image

5. Why balanced lighting is the best approach starting out as a new photographer lighting subjects

Keith shared great info and tips for one light photography. I was so excited I bought batteries on the way home to try out my soft box and new wireless trigger system for my flash. Now I have the ideas and tools to improve on my portrait practice. Keith, Thanks for sharing your gift and talents with all of us.
