1st"Semi Formal" Holiday Gathering & Charity Drive

Tickets available at:

http://kickstandsupticket-eac2.eventbrite.com/

$25.00 from 24 November to 15 December. $5 refund if you bring a donation item the night of the event

We now have 151 riders many of which, we have yet to meet.

This is our first Semi-formal Holiday Gathering and Charity Drive. This is an opportunity to not only assist others in need, but to celebrate & enjoy the holiday season with our Meetup family and friends in a warm atmosphere with good conversation, delicious food, music, dancing and games. Cost is $25 in advance if you pay online by December 8, 2012 at the following link: http://kickstandsupticket-eac2.eventbrite.com/

Now here is how you can get $5.00 back. If you bring an item for the needs drive, you will be REFUNDED $5.00 the night of the event (does not apply to those who paid prior to 15 November).

So for all you Green Bay Packers and Dallas Cowboys fans let me go slow. Once you pay in advance meaning online, and bring a clothing item of any kind for someone in need, when you arrive you will be refunded $5.00.

If you decide to bring an item for the holiday drive you will only pay $20.00.

Here is a suggested list of items to bring to receive $5 off the price of your ticket:

Socks, hand warmers, trash bags, Subway/McDonalds gift card, gloves, hats, roll of tape, granola bars/trail mix, water, facial tissues, hand sanitizer, deodorant, fruit cups, trash bags, toothbrush/ toothpaste, Vaseline, etc.

Remember food and drinks are included in the price of admission.

The average American (regardless of color) is only 1-2 paychecks from being homeless or destitute.

Ladies get out those going on a nice date clothes, fellas this is a chance to wear something other than Tim’s and a t-shirt. So let’s have some fun, help those who are less fortunate and above all pray that Romo gets an offensive line, Rodgers gets a discount double check, and enjoy ourselves.

We need volunteers to put items into gallon sized zipped-locked bags

More info contact one of the event coordinators, Gary, Karma, Wayne, Mo, Heather or Tammy

For those who supported the cause, gave self-lessly, helped out and even attended. Thank you. Many said they had a very nice time and the items donated will be appreciated by those less fortunate than you and I. Thanks again. We will schedule a day to distribute. Maybe January 4th before or after the International Bike show.

Guys, I uploaded the first 14 minutes or so of our 40 minutes DVD slide show to YouTube. Which captures picture contributions from every one and highlights all the the great stuff KSU has done in 2012. Really great pics capturing rides and events through the year. Makes for great viewing during the off riding season. Any one interested in the full DVD. I'll bring copies to the January 5th optional monthly meeting. Check us out here on YouTube! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RkGwC2NKIOc&feature=youtu.be

Heck I even got a copy I play in truck while driving because the music tracks are pretty cool. Really hope every one enjoys it. Copies are free! I burn about 10 more and bring the gathering Saturday. Any one else I make more copies for the January meeting. I watch that slide show daily in my truck and can't waiting till next year. Make's you want pull the bike out right away. LOL

For those attending the Holiday Gathering & Charity Drive, just a friendly reminder that payments are due by Friday, December 8th. Please make your payments online via the link in the description area. A lot of planning has gone into this event to not only collect donations for the charity drive but also, for you to have a fun and wonderful evening. If you are unsure on what to wear for this Semi-formal affair, it's simply any clothing that is more dressy than everyday or business attire, but not so formal as to include tuxedos or fancy gowns. Thank you.
