What makes Kickstands Up (KU) different from other Motorcycle Meet up Groups? Simply put, KU is not a motorcycle club rather people who enjoy riding when time permits as lone wolves or with other motorcycle enthusiasts. No Commitments, Dues, KU Vests, Mandatory meetings, pledging/prospects, Bike wash or Bike post-ups. KU riders are more interested in keeping their kickstands up than down. So, if this is you, WELCOME! There is no need to RSVP "NO" to any event; Just RSVP "YES" to events that interest you; that will fit your schedule. This will help to determine the total number of participants for reservations & the ride. If you are a new rider, Don't Fret! just RSVP & join in. You will see KU riders immediately welcome you an take you under their wing to ensure you are safe & have an enjoyable riding experience. We have rode through D.C., Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, South Carolina, Florida, Georgia as well as, Canada.
We have recently noticed other motorcycle meet up groups copying this description and even some of our events. Well, Charles Caleb Colton said, "Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery".We hope these meetup groups begin having safety practice rides & bike maintenance events like us for free as well. Why do so many KU riders volunteer, lead rides & even suggest some of the events? You'd have to ask them yourself.
