Introduction
I am a professor of children's literature at National-Louis University and I direct the Center for Teaching through Children's Books with Gail Bush. I'm looking forward to engaging in good discussions on children's books!

My favorite book of 2006 as The Book Thief by Marcus Zusak.

I grew up in Japan . . . and loved reading the monthly manga series, "Margaret."
