When you try to name old children's books, what books do you think of?

The Secret Garden is the first publication that comes to mind.

What kind of children's literature do you like best/collect?

I love children's stories about looking beyond appearances and challenging gender stereotypes. I'm also interested in children's stories in other media like film, television, radio, comics, and theater.

What are your favorite books and series now?

BOOKS: The Secret Garden, Tibet Through the Red Box, Totally Joe. MOVIES: My Neighbor Totoro, Ratatouille, The Secret of Roan Inish. TV: Avatar: The Last Airbender, Gargoyles, Spellbinder. RADIO: The Cinnamon Bear, Let's Pretend. COMICS: Jellaby.

What was your favorite series as a child?

I'll admit that my favorite series was Goosebumps. I also loved everything by Chris Van Allsburg.

What was your favorite book as a child?

Jumanji or The Polar Express; they were both so beautiful, strange, and mysterious....

Introduction

I've loved children's stories my whole life, and my love for them has only grown over time. The stories on their own are an incredible inspiration and delight, but I love having an opportunity to discuss them with a group of fellow fans!
