In 1995 Reverend Zenko N.Okimura Shihan founded the Aikikai Foundation of Delaware (also known as Kiyo Mizu Kai), to share Japan's unique culture and heritage with anyone interested. 

The Aikido Delaware Aikikai Dojo of Newark, Delaware, a dojo Shihan opened in 2005, continues to graciously offer us space to conduct our business, meetings, and many of our events; some of which are jointly sponsored with the dojo.

In 2008, former organizer MP Anthony, created this meetup to reach out to people who may have an interest in Japanese culture but didn't know about our group.  In addition to the Japanese cultural activities, we were also interested in reaching people seeking wellness through holistic means.

 

So if you are interested in Japanese culture and/or holistic wellness, please join our group.
