Ikebana is the Japanese art of arranging flowers. Ikebana values discipline, a concept of peace, knowledge of rules and style, and an idealized approach to nature. Spend the day learning the basics of Ikebana with an experienced instructor. Fundamentals of this traditional Japanese art form will be explained. Using fresh flowers and greenery, students will create graceful, elegant designs that exude a sense of beauty, balance, and well being.

Midori Tanimune, a native of Japan, holds diplomas and high ranking teaching certificates from the renowned Sogetsu School of Ikebana in Tokyo.
