Well I'm looking at my calendar for September and after work just isn't working LOL. Lets try a Sunday afternoon. Bring your project to work on. Any project that you've finished to share... hope to see you there. Again, you are welcome to bring any craft. This is a friendly group of ladies who just enjoy getting together with other crafting ladies.

The group is just so nice and welcoming, I am a new knitter and everyone goes out of their way to make you feel comfortable. Rhonda, you are a wonderful hostess!

I am not a great knitter; but, the Get Together was above a 5-star group. Great conversation, sharing information and lots of fun. Hope to meet at another time. Thank you Rhonda. Nancy Jo

I didn't remember the name of that antique shop until I got home. Part of my mind was thinking "hippy shop" (but I was thinking of the wooden hippie that stands outside. It is called "Flower Child" - web site is down at the moment but here is the Yelp entry:

I just wanted to let you know that I will be a few (15 minutes?) late. I apologize but I am excited to get to the group!

I just wanted to note that I will probably not make it until around 2:30 or a little later.

Yes, you should bring a beverage... as for food you can bring whatever you like. I will probably have something to munch on but nothing big.

Nancy-Welcome! I am new to this group as well but let me assure you that the women there made me feel like I was one of them. They are very friendly and helpful and just plain nice. At that meeting someone kindly provided dinner and we brought our own drinks. I am a fairly new knitter and there are various levels of skill (all much higher than me!)

I have put this Get-together on my calendar. I am excited as this is the first MEETUP group that I will meet. A dancer I know told me about MEETUP. Not a very good knitter because of the way I hold my needles but I am neat. Dabble in lots of other crafts too. My e-mail is [masked] or [masked] (Mon-Tues-Thurs-Fri) + phone[masked] (24/7) if you need to contact/cancel. I was a craft teacher a long time ago and I needed contact info as there seemed to be store or weather emergencies. Does everyone bring a snack item or drink to share expense or no eating at a MEETUP.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
