Cinco De Queso! Vegan Cheese-Making Class & Potluck


This will be a joint gathering between K-Town Vegans and the Vegetarian Society of East Tennessee.

Cindy and Kevin will demonstrate how to make healthy, delicious, nut-based cheeses at home, using traditional cheese-making processes and vegan ingredients. The class will include such cheeses as Cashew Boursin, Raw Brazil Nut Parmesan, Smoked Cashew Cheddar Sauce,  and Fresh Cashew Mozzarella.

Cost: $4

7:00pm - Vegan/Vegetarian Potluck - please bring a dish to pass (at least 8 servings) and your own place setting.

    I'm particularly interested in this demonstration, but I have the Quaker meeting in the morning and another meeting at 2 p.m. in Farragut. I'm feeling better in general, but three meetings in one day may be pushing it! Can I just show up if I'm not too tired?

      I believe that vset will provide cards for you to do that, but just to be sure, it might be a good idea to bring an index card with the ingredients on it.
