"Escaping North Korea" by Mike Kim: Talk and Book signing

Apologize for the late notice but please consider attending.

This event was passed along to AKA-SF by Looking Glass Korean Learning Center:

Mike Kim is incredible and inspirational and fantastic. Mike cashed out his savings, bought a one way ticket to North Korea and spent 4 years on the China/North Korea border helping to smuggle North Korean refugees out. When he returned home, his story captivate so many people -- he was on the Daily Show with Jon Stewart, Anderson Cooper on CNN, etc. His book has now been optioned into a feature film and he is current working with Daniel Dae Kim (Lost, Hawaii 5-0) to make that happen.

Mike will speaking at The Nueva School (6565 Skyline Boulevard, Hillsborough, CA) April 7th (Monday) at 6:30pm. We'd love it if you can join us. This event is open to the public -- feel free to forward this invitation to anyone you think would be interested.

Thanks for the invitation to hear and meet Mike Kim. It was truly one of those inspiration sessions that reignited my passion to do more for the greater good of those in need. To "Escaping North Korea" I bow to Mike Kim for his commitment to humanity and let's hope his story will be made into a movie soon to bring a universal level of awareness for those are still waiting and fighting for their freedom in the dark. I look forward to attending more events like this in the future. Thank you.

I saw this too late. Does the author have other Bay Area readings scheduled?

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
