Korean-English Toastmasters

  • Apr 18, 2013 · 6:30 PM

Welcome to the Korean-English Toastmasters club in San Francisco.

This is the first Korean-English Toastmasters club in San Francisco. The club meets weekly.

This is the first meeting of the club. We are working on getting the club chartered with Toastmasters International.

Attendees can practice their Korean and/or English while they improve on their public speaking skills. These skills help professionally and personally. Also, attendees can participate in sharing and learning Korean culture.

After the meeting, there is an optional dutch treat dinner at the restaurant.

Please email to me if you are interested in joining this club, and would like to be on the mailing list.

It was a fun night, there were about 20 attendees. It's a work in progress, so expect even better events in the future =]

It was an excellent start to the Korean-English Toastmasters. It was nice to see that there were many people interested and supportive to know what Toastmasters is about, particularly about attending and participating in a Korean-English Toastmasters. The group was friendly and eager to learn.

The correct and confirmed location of this event is Ssisso Korean Restaurant, 1700 Post Street, http://ssissosf.com/. This location was the old Dennys in Japantown. The meeting is on the main floor at the restaurant. The agenda is 6:30 PM - 7:30 PM: meeting, 7:30 PM - 8:30 PM: dutch treat optional dinner at the restaurant for whoever wants to have dinner afterward there.

Eugene Lee and everyone in this meetup group, I agree. Lets do it.

Great news! Save the date: Thursday, April 18, 2013, 6:30 PM for the first meeting of Korean-English Toastmasters. I am working with others on a location.

The location will be posted within the next several days on this meetup page.

I look forward to your response.

There are several bilingual Toastmasters clubs in the San Francisco Bay Area; however, there is no Korean-English Toastmasters club yet in the area. Isn't it time to have one? Please spread the word!
