Re: [korean-165] Schedule of South Bay Language Exchange

Hi Guys,

My name is James, and I look forward to meeting you all and learning more Korean language and culture.

Just like other meetups, 'This Meetup' site can have more than one organizer.  Meaning, if you wanted to post a meetup at a certain location, with a specific topic, you can post it.  Others with common interest and an open schedule would join at that time and location.

Not everyone will have the same schedule, so having multiple meetup organizers, and activities will cover a spectrum of interests and days/times.

This way, everyone interested in Korean language and culter can have one location for finding activities.

The question is, who can assign assistant organizers?

A good example of what I am explaining is found with the 'Bay Area Runners' meetup.  They have a variety of distance runs, all experience levels welcome.  Some social events so people can get to know each other.

Can anyone else elaborate?

Thanks,

James

I was part of the South Bay Dongari, but it's been inactive for nearly 2years now....

If you're interested in expanding the group, you may want to reach out to another Korean-English language exchange group called "Dongari".  It originally started in Berkeley but I think there's a south bay/peninsula group also.
