Language Exchange

안녕하세요 여러분! Hello, everyone!

I'm glad so many people, new and returning, came to the last meetup! What a day!

All language levels are welcome at this meetup. We will break into small groups, giving everyone a chance to  practice speaking in Korean or English. I will post conversation topic questions later.

This is a language exchange. So, any advanced or fluent speakers that want to help others learn Korean are more than welcome to come! For people wanting to improve their English skills, please come as well!

Bring paper and a pen or pencil for note taking, and feel free to bring any other learning tools.

There is no charge for this meetup. However, I do ask that you purchase at least one item while at Mozart Bakery. Our venue hosts will greatly appreciate our patronage. ;)

**I have read all of your comments and suggestions, and I will do my very best to make these meetups a nice and productive experience for everyone. Expect some changes in the future. :) If you have any suggestions, feel free to email me. Thanks!**

I was soooo happy to finally be able to talk in Korean in person, not on skype, in 7 months. And it was so much fun. Can't wait till next Sunday!

Hi, my name is 지연. I'm so happy and excited to meet people who are interested in learning Korean. I've taught Korean to foreign teachers in Korea. Hope that I can be helpful. See you tomorrow!

I am not sure I am going to be able to make it. Would it be okay if I show up around 5:30pm just to say hello? When will the next language exchange take place?

    February 20, 2013

    • Meagan

      Hey, John.
Yeah, drop by if you'd like. :)
The next exchange is scheduled for 3/3 @ 3pm.

    February 14, 2013

    • Meagan

      Hi, Thao!
No, these meetups won't always be at 3 pm on Saturday. I know everyone can't make it on Saturday, so I will schedule some on Sundays, as well. :)
