3rd Annual Korean Festival

3rd Annual Korean Festival

The Third Annual Korean Festival will be held Oct. 15-16 at Suwanee Town Center Park. Expect no less than a great time as the festival celebrates the traditional Korean culture and much more.

Best of all: It’s FREE

There are 'vendors' selling Korean food in addition to typical fair food (deep dried oreos, funnel cake, gyros, nachoes, etc all).  I really want to try 호떡 which is a sweet Korean pancake with soft filling inside.  They had run out when I tried to get some late Saturday afternoon.  Honey Pig seems to have 2 versions of it's Bulgogi Pork & Beef: Spicy & Non-spicy, with Korean's getting the spicy by default and everyone else getting the non-spicy.  There are a lot of merchants that cater to the Korean Community in addition so some retail vendors selling 'stuff'.  Stuff being things like Korean Pottery, water systems, seaweed, shoes, beauty products, and traditional wear.

Town Center Park is located at the intersection of Lawrenceville-Suwanee Road and Buford Highway.

Hoping everybody's having lots of fun at the festival! I'm looking forward to hearing the stories about your experiences, especially the dancing, the hapkido demo, wedding show and the Yellow Boys. (AND the kimchi contest.) My best friend and I got the chance to interview the Yellow Boys at Kollaboration back in March... amazing young men with a bright future. Hope they do well today.
