Learn to cook (or help us learn) to cook Korean food!

This event has a small materials fee to cover some costs, and to make sure people who go really want to learn?

The night before there is a free "shopping with the cooks" event, which you can attend if this event is full.

More details soon... and then the class will be opened up to attendees.

Sorry... this event happened in a different way, and I'll get a cooking event set up at a place big enough to hold the large (and growing) number of people interested in cooking.

Paul: I attended a sushi making class for one of my other meetups. I think it was at Cafe Asia. It did cost money and I think I remember it being somewhat hands on with a tasting and wine. I also bought a cupcake making/decorating class at this place called Occasionally Cake via Groupon. Lastly, the Lorton Workhouse offers 1-day (3 hour) culinary classes that I would think can accommodate groups. There's an interesting one on Thai/Viet cooking on Jan 10. These are just ideas I'm throwing out at you.

Schedule conflict for early February, so it is being postponed a bit. We'll update as soon as a new date is set (it may be the date on meetup for late Feb., or it may change). People who post a comment here should receive an update when we post an update about the date. Thank you for your patience!
