Korean dinner out in a French Restaurant - Bistrot Du Coin!

Le Bistrot du Coin is an excellent restaurant that serves authentic French cuisine. I (Elodie) have been there once, and I absolutely loved the food! Le Bistrot du Coin has good selection of French dishes, and they are very affordable! You can get a three-course meal for around $30. You can check out the menu at the following website:

http://www.bistrotduc...

Please come join us (Elodie, Marie, and Astrid) for a tasteful adventure at Le Bistrot du Coin.

In order to reserve a big table for our group, we need to make a reservation 2 weeks before the event since Le Bistrot du Coin is a popular restaurant in the Dupont Circle area. Please RSVP before Nov 22 11:59PM (I will cut off the RSVP at this time). Thanks for checking! I will see you guys in the restaurant!

I wasn't speaking for myself, there should be enough room to let the 3 maybes come also if they want to

    November 30, 2010

  • Elodie

Lindel, you are "yes" now so don't worry it's good for you,
we are 18 ppl and we can't be more, this restaurant is very popular and also small, why do you think I put a deadline? Because I needed to make the reservation quickly, so unfortunately there is no space for the "maybes"...

    November 30, 2010

  • lindel

Maybe space could be found for the maybes?

    November 29, 2010

  • Jeff

Wow, this one is popular. Considering doing another one?

    November 28, 2010

  • Elodie

Lindel, you answered yes after the deadline for answering and for you Jin it was yes and now it's maybe :@
The reservation is only for 18 ppl you know, so Jin I'm sorry but I don't consider the maybe anymore. We keep the number of 18 ppl from the list I have here. Thx

    November 24, 2010

  • Elodie

The limited number of ppl for one table is 14, so I made 2 reservations, we will have 2 tables for 9 ppl.

    November 23, 2010

  • Elodie

the "maybe" are yes or no ???

    November 22, 2010

  • Sean

That place looks interesting. Unfortunately, not sure of my schedule at this point. Will make room for those who are certain.

    November 21, 2010

  • Elodie

I'm actually changing the deadline time to respond, because we need to book the table in advance.
On Tuesday, November 23, I will make the reservation based on who said yes, the "maybe" please let me know. ;)

    November 19, 2010

  • Elodie

Paul, if we have a big group I'm afraid that they couldn't take my reservation.

    November 19, 2010

I prefer the Bistro du Coin, can we do that on a Sunday night? If it's open, not sure, or a Saturday night in January?

I am just a simple "McDonald's happy meal-grease loving" commoner, and what do I know about these fancy French dinners? Just post it as a meetup though, and I will come (depending on my schedule).

wow. been years. haven't had french cuisine since i spent 3 weeks in nice, lyon and paris.

    October 25, 2010

  • Elodie

oh and I think they can't take more than 16 people !!

    October 25, 2010

  • lindel

I am thinking of a number between 1 and 1000. The first lady who can guess the number wins a free dinner at L'Auberge Chez Francois.

    October 25, 2010

  • Elodie

    you won't be dissapointed :)

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
