Language Exchange Social: English/ESL & Korean

Update: there is a daily deal special to be used for a buffet discount on the table.  We will be at a table in a quieter section of the dining area.

Join us!  It's fun!! Come for language exchange or just to enjoy the food and socialize.

We'll get together and study, meet potential language exchange partners, and have a great time. Korean speakers and English speakers and people who speak both languages! Our location is Hee Been in Annandale.

We will have our usual social group/discussion, and also help some people match up to have individual language exchange.

We will also have a " practice workshop" option, for the people who want to practice situations and learn proper responses. It will be in English (and Korean when it is translated). Practice job interviews, responding to questions, and other activities, so that you can "feel like a native speaker" more easily.

We'll try to improve the learning process: How do we learn a language as adults? What is the latest information on how to learn:

* Fast
* Easily
* Comfortably
* Without headaches! smile

Babo opsoyo! You don't get dumb if you keep using your brain! So let's get together and help each other.

Standard Details: There is no cost to attend. We welcome first-time attendees! You can arrive late - its okay. The dress code is casual. We will post photos and notes after the event.

Preparation: Just bring yourself, and your passion to learn.

Metro: We can arrange a pickup (let us know when you RSVP), probably on the Yellow line.

Parking lot is available.

    The parking at the restaurant is free. The parking lot is big - it's for the restaurant and other shops and a supermarket.

    What Paul said. There is day/short term parking at Van Dorn but if you drove up from NC, I would just drive straight to the restaurant. Not sure what your situation is so it's hard to make suggestions. cell number in e-mail.

    If you need a ride from the metro you would probably want to be picked up. On a cooler day someone in the group walked the the same area from Van Dorn metro for a dinner event... about 2 1/2 miles.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
