Again, unsure you'll see my comment with the photo, so I'll repeat here: The red/yellow/orange/pink flower in the foreground is asclepias currasavica (milkweed). I love the multi-colored cultivar... as do the butterflies! Last couple of years I've had self-sown seedlings of yellow-only flowers pop up in my yard. Gave several away & you're welcome to some this summer if they reappear.
I left this comment by the photo in answer to your question. Since I'm not sure you'd see it there: It's a columbine. I really love this cultivar. I call this photo "columbines conversing" :-) I have a Picasa slide show of many of my garden photos I can send to anyone who gives me their email.. maybe at a Permaculture gardening meeting (?) The 2011 garden slideshow takes about 10 minutes to view it all; my 2010 slideshow has many more butterfly photos from my garden. Each year has its stars
Hi I like to meet with you over coffee, I live in Arlington very close to Arlington Hospital. Any suggestion for a place to meet and date, I am out of town right now but I will be back by the end of the week
Great idea MyeongHee! Please suggest another time for plant divisiion gathering, we can share some of them at the meeting on the 9th. I like the idea of meeting once a month in general but because we are gardeners sometimes we will have to do things according to Mother Natures schedule. Please suggest a good time for another perennial divisions exchange. I might have some day lilies adn creeping phlox to share.
Welcome to our group. I look forward to cooking with you :)
Hi, MH, thank you for your sweet notes. Let's chat more about ASIA when we see each other this Friday. Thank you for RSVP.
"Hi, MH! Decided to randomly go the Drum Ensemble and thoroughly enjoyed it! I left with bucket loads of extra energy! I wanted to thank you for sharing this event and also that I deeply appreciate it!
Hi MH, Welcome! Glad to have you join our group. We have lots of interesting ideas that we share during our time at Anita's. We have folks in our group that are interested in being engaged in life and re-inventing the concept of retirement.
Welcome to the group MH!
Welcome to the Potluck Club! We have many fabulous cooks among us and are happy to have all the new people joining us!
