I understand a smattering but would love to learn more so that I can communicate with my relatives in Korea on a better level. I'm pretty fluent with the names of Korean food, though, LOL!
I was born in Korea but raised in America, however, I try to stick to the traditions of my heritage. Both my sons had traditional Tol ceremonies, and I do celebrate the big holidays with my other hapa-Korean friends and brother.
I'm Kia, a proud Korean-hapa in Arlington. Glad to have found this group!
Everyone I got a chance to talk to was very nice, very welcoming. Definitely a good crowd of people.
