From: Paul

Hello Everyone - Annyong,

Quick update, plus a forwarded message from Natalie below about her search for a host family for a Korean intern.

Welcome to our newest members! We've grown to over 400 people, sharing language/culture/experiences.

Along with a larger size come the opportunity to make something beneficial happen. There are more details to follow, but for now, if anyone is interested in leading or being part of a committee within the group, let us know. We are open to new & fresh ideas, and the committees are not set up. They will include areas such as:

* event planning/special events
* membership & community
* language exchange

If interested, please contact me here:

Upcoming events:

This Friday is an English Conversation meetup at Korea Daily, and we'll have a new (& certified) English teacher helping out. You can see a photo from the most recent event there at this link:

On Sunday, the regular ESL meetup that James has been running is not on the schedule... instead there is the final scheduled movie meetup of the 2009 Korean Film Festival - (there are other movie in the festival, which runs for another week).

Also, you can see 40 photos of the trip to NYC at the end of April, added by at least 3 of the people who went -
