Announcing a new Meetup for Fun Korean Culture, Language, Music & Food (& ESL) DC VA MD!

What: Free & Different Korean Language Lesson

When: Sunday, May 16,[masked]:00 PM

Arlington Central Library second floor meeting room
1015 N. Quincy St.
Arlington, VA 22201

The location is Arlington Central Library 2nd Floor Meeting room (see our pics from a previous event in the same room). The library has lots of parking. The closest metro is Ballston (Orange Line). Link: Library website.

This new lesson is designed for beginners to the language. It's not important if you haven't had another lesson, and this will cover different material from the class in April. It also can help refresh some of the basics for those who already have some Korean language ability.

What will be covered? The lesson is expected to include:

  • Korean numbers & pronunciation
  • 3 useful Korean phrases
  • Even more of our already tried-and-tested "10 Korean words you can learn in 1 minute" format... updated & expanded with new words for May!
  • Handouts to help attendees follow along and learn even more

The teacher has taught at various levels, and there is no cost to attendees. More details to follow.

If you are a Native or an advanced Korean language speaker, you're also welcome to attend to assist and find language exchange partners.
