Attend Presentation About Documenting Your Own Family & Community's History.

On April 12th, the Little Landers Historical Society, who are affiliated with the Bolton Hall Museum in the Sunland/Tujunga area, will be presenting a program about the importance of documenting personal history. The program will feature oral historian specialist & documentary film maker, Ellie Kahn. As well as speaking, the plan is also to screen her 45 min. documentary, Meet Me at Brooklyn & Soto, about the Jewish History of Boyle Heights. Link to the event:

Sadly, I must 'unrsvp.' I have another commitment I forgot, that will last all day. I note there is another similar event being held May 10, am adding that to my calendar so I am able to discover more about documenting one's personal history.
Your film sounds fascinating Ellie! I hope to see it in the future!
    thanks!

Want to add (since I'm Ellie Kahn) that the film is actually a little over 1 hour in length.
