Although I not originally from L.A., I've decided to make this home and would love to learn more about it.
I love that L.A. has so many communities to discover. I feel like I could live here a lifetime and still not really "know" L.A.
Hmm. So many. I like West Adams, because I imagine what it would have been like to live there in its heyday.
Hi Rosemary -- you my have received a posting from me already... the last one seemed to disappear before I had finished writing it. Oops! Please try contacting Erin via "linked-in" again -- she didn't recognize you before I had a chance to talk to her. Cheers!
It was nice meeting you, Rosemary! Looking forward to the next book :)
This is an interesting link to some history of the West Adams area in it's "heyday." And yes...famed lawman, Wyatt Earp, died at 4004 West 17th Street,. Address no longer exists, but it's in the area of Johnnie Cochran, Jr, Middle School. Earp also lived in a few addresses in Highland Park.
