Looking for something fun to do this weekend? Grab the whole family and check out the Green Festival in L.A., at the Los Angeles Convention Center on Saturday and Sunday November, 17 & 18. The festival is a great place to learn and find opportunities to get involved.
The festival includes presentations by more than 125 leaders, authors and thinkers who are active in the green movement. Speakers this year include Amy Goodman, Russell Simmons, John Robbins and many more. Sierra Club is excited to partner with the Green Festival on Sierra Club Presents: Green Cinema -- video screenings of eco-shorts and trailers. Also, check out the Sierra Club moderated panel on the Emerging Power of Latinos in America with Edward James Olmos and Gina Rodriguez on Sunday at 2pm on the main stage.
From educational DIY how-to workshops and book signings to the Kids' Zone, live music, delicious organic food, yoga and eco-fashion, the LA Green Festival will truly offer something for everyone to enjoy. Get involved at the Community Action Stage. There is a marketplace offering goods for sale from hundreds of local and national eco-conscious businesses and organizations and you can also test drive a hybrid or electric vehicle.

Sierra Club members w/ membership card get in free! or use mass transit, or ride a bike and use the bike valet - weather may not make this a viable option; or use the secret code - go to the will call and say you're with CNI - the Children's Nature Institute - we've worked a couple fundraiser events for them, or pay the $15 and support the cause.
